Generating More Luck
Continuing with yesterday’s exercise of visualizing things that went well today:
Worked out
Made appointment for cats’ shots.
Diagnosed phenytoin toxicity.
Admitted hypoxic patient
Saved a four year old from a lifelong facial scar. (I’ll leave out the part about how he screamed at the top of his lungs for 20 minutes before I ever even touched him with a needle.)
Learned how to transmit an rhythm strip from a King of Hearts monitor.
Caught up on every single dicatation, lab result and open chart.
Wrapped up all of my patients 30 minutes prior to the end of my shift.
Went home early.
Sorry for the “list” style of entry. Introspection will return to Mr. Hassle at some point I’m sure. Probably on my next sphincter tightening trauma or cardiac arrest.
