AFC Champs

My summer home is in the background of this photo of Invesco Field in Denver, site of the Bronco’s vs. Steelers AFC championship game. Chuck Noll was always one of my heros when I was growing up, but this guy is growing on me. The man does it again.

Beat the Broncos!!!

Trachs

I reinserted my first trach tonight. I couldn’t get the #6 in that he had pulled out at the nursing home, but I got a #4 in (smaller). He seemed to do OK with it, but I admitted him overnight so the ENT doc who put the first trach in could evaluate him tomorrow.

My New Toy

This is my new toy, a Trek Pilot 5.2 custom painted in Pearl Carbon. The stock color is Pink, which the local bike guy said wasn’t selling too well. Go figure! Well, the little extra to get the custom paint job was worth it since I really, really like to look at this bike. And [...]

PseudoSpeeding

I have a new bicycle that I will post a picture of soon. That means my old reliable Bridgestone is free to move on to bigger and better assignments than riding in triathlons. It has already retired for the most part from true mountain biking having displaced by an open ended loaner bike with front [...]
