		<description>Reminds me of the trip I just took from San Diego moving out to Omaha. I had my bike on top of my car for the duration of the trip and am convinced that I damaged it somehow. 		<description>That sucks.. Not the new ER but the trashed rode bike. I jerry rigged several mounts inside my old school Ford Explorer because I new if I mounted my mountain or road bike on the roof they would suffer a fate such as you described. Also because I have spent more money on my bikes than my car.....</description>
